You could work around this by doing the following:

1.) Collect whatever info you need on the web-form
2.) Submit the form to some kind of script (PHP, etc) that will send an email to your dropbox with all the form data in the body in such a format that Highrise detects everything and sets up a new contact (this may require some trial and error)

Just wanted to let you guys know that I’ve added SMS support to Highrise MOBI. You can text “HRMOBI query” to 41411 and receive an SMS response with that contact’s telephone number.

For now – I’ve created a free web app using the Highrise API that will let you use your mobile phone’s browser to lookup contacts in Highrise. See it at HighriseHQ.MOBI

Hey everyone,

I know that a mobile version of Highrise is a long standing feature request. I’ve been hacking around with the API, and I’ve put together a mobile interface to Highrise. It’s read only, but it’s a start.

It’s located at HighriseHQ.MOBI.

Everything works fine in my limited tests (ie. my Highrise account, and my phone)

Two limitations though:
1.) You must be using a normal user/pw to login to Highrise (not OpenID)
2.) If you have a paid Highrise account, you must disable SSL.

I’ll be working on removing the above restrictions. Until then, I’d love some feedback as you use the site. If you find any bugs, please let me know at admin@highrisehq.mobi
