Topic: How are you using Highrise? / Integration, please! Just another voice in the chorus: I’m ready, willing and able to pay for or beta an optionally integrated basecamp & highrise. Please, please, oh pretty please! Thx, John F |

Topic: Feature Requests / Email Out & Message Templates I agree too! I’m always sending the same mails. Only with different names in it. If there would be a feature to send email-templates with automatic integration of data (e.g. name, adress, ...) that would be great! like an autoresponder. |

Topic: Highrise API / <frame /> & <due-at /> not coming through with tasks? Sorry for the confusion – “frame” and “due_at” should both be visible in tasks’ XML now. |

Topic: Feature Requests / Dashboard Date Range on Displaying Tasks Perhaps I haven’t found the correct way to do this, but it would be great to be able to set a range of dates for tasks to be displayed on the dashboard. Many times I set up reminders to call a customer back in six months for follow-up, but I don’t want to see all of those reminders until the date of the event gets within about 30-days of the task due date. I don’t want to see fifty reminders for events that I don’t care about for several months every time I go to the dashboard screen. I apologize if this topic has been discussed or if there is a way to do this that I have yet to discover. |

Topic: Feature Requests / Can you add an address search, please? We have several buildings in our community that house multiple businesses. I would like to keep the leads with the person who has the most contacts within that building – can an address seach be added to the advance search feature on the search contacts? Would be appreciated….thanks and a safe and happy Fourth to all. |

Topic: Feature Requests / Highrise/Basecamp Integration Any updates on this? Can we expect something like this in the near future? I am sure that all Highrise Users would love to know what is coming as we love using Highrise but need a bit more to make it all complete. |

Topic: Highrise API / <frame /> & <due-at /> not coming through with tasks? The date a task is due doesn’t seem to be coming through using the api… I’m sure I must be doing something wrong? The data reference indicates that a <frame></frame> element should come through if there’s no specific date associated with it and a <due-at></due-at>. Neither! I’ve tried both curl and simply browsing to https://[acct].highrisehq.com/tasks.xml but it’s not coming through in the response. The date a task is due would be quite useful, I imagine. Anyone have/had this problem? |

Topic: Feature Requests / Default Permissions Whenever something gets added via dropbox or some other process, it is public by default. As far as I can tell, there is no way for me to change this. So I have to rush in and make stuff private before some other user sees it. And I have to somehow get every other user to do the same if they are adding something that should have limited access. Can’t we make private be the default, or let it be specified in the dropbox (e.g. private+dropbox@...) |

Topic: Feature Requests / Feature request: Restricted users I need something like this too. I have some new users I don’t really trust (data entry, junior staff, collaborating on cases with other companies). I want to give them access to the information they add, and anything else I explicitly grant them access to. But nothing else. |

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / Multiple 'To' addresses don't get handled I would love for Highrise to take care of this—I am regular writing to several people, and would like the messages to be filed under each of them, so I can remember what’s gone to each person when I am reviewing their contact record. |

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / e-mail associates with wrong contact how do I change the contact that an e-mail is associated with? For some reason, a new e-mkail fwd just associated with a previous contact instead of creating a new one (names are not similar or anything). Why might this have happened? And, how can I force it to associate it with a new contact, and break the connection to the old one? |

Topic: Feature Requests / Add a New Person An excellent feature would be : When you do a search for a person and the person is not in the database, a link should appear below the search box that should allow you to add a new person directly from there. |

Topic: Feature Requests / Applying tasks and notes to multiple contacts 37 Signals—you’ve added the ability to add tags to multiple contacts. This is great, but I’m wondering about the possibility of taking things further. In DayLite (arguably a close software-based competitor for Mac users), for example, I can in a few keystrokes add either a note or, more importantly, a task to any number of contacts. This takes much, much longer in Highrise. If I’ve sent a business development letter to 20 contacts, and want to contact all of them on Wednesday next week, I have to go into each contact and enter a note (“sent letter”) and the task (“call”). This would be a killer feature, if you could make it happen. Thanks. RSDA |

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / Perm Set Contact Filtering to "people" Is there a way to permanently set the contact list filtering to “All People”? If I bounce in and out of the master contact list, Highrise by default displays the list as “All People & Companies”, which always makes the list twice as long as it needs to be. Regardless of the fact that I change the view to “all people” each time… whenever I again click on the contact list, it defaults back to “All people and companies”. This is very frustrating. |

Topic: Feature Requests / User "dashboard" Did you ever find a solution? The Dashboard is great, but once multiple people are using our account, then the dashboard becomes a bit overwhelming, and you can’t see what any one person is doing. |

Topic: Tips & Tricks / HOWTO Reassign a task to a contact This feature is a big one for me too. I love being able to add a task by email, but after that, I have no way to assign it to a contact. This basically kills the email functionality of adding tasks for me. |

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / Bug in cases - select people Hello, We are frequent highrise users, and we seem to have discovered a minor bug. When you go to cases – > add new case -> select people -> select a first person -> press the +, nothing happens. It seems a Javascript (or something like that) error. We are working on Mac OS, and tested in Safari and Firefox 3. Hope you guys get the problem fixed! Kind regards, Niki |
