<body>Would be very helpful to export only recently added contacts, which is already a filtered contact view.

Alternately, you could add "contact create date" to the CSV export, so that I can sort and filter in XL.

Thanks,

    <body>Hi,

I think it would be great to be able to customize the types (or categories) of email addresses, web site addresses etc. For example, in case of web site addresses I'd like to be able to define types like LinkedIn, Blog, or Facebook &#8212; actually the specific types of social sites people tend to have these days. Note that only admins should be able to do that.

To make more use of this feature I suggest (maybe optionally) showing just these types in the contact pane &#8212; in a label/tag-like design &#8212; instead as full URLs. So, instead of showing &#8220;http://www.linkedin.co... Other&#8221;, where &#8220;Other&#8221; is printed in gray, Highrise would show a colored label with the text &#8220;LinkedIn&#8221;. In fact, as a user, I don't need to see the actual URL (especially when just a meaningless part of it is rendered!) but I need a quick way of opening that URL. Anyway the full URL could come up as a tooltip.

This way users would be able to differentiate important contact information in the way they want in respect to the kind of information they need to keep in their contacts (in my case LinkedIn and Blog addresses are crucial for our business) in a cleaner and more organized UI. At the same time no introduction of special fields would be necessary.

<body>I use Highrise to manage a plethora of e-mails.

Often these e-mails become long conversations with many replies and, when forwarded to Highrise, the information is duplicated again and again (i.e. the original e-mail, which is already in Highrise, is added again when a reply is sent through to Highrise).

How is everyone else managing this? Is there a way to group items together in Highrise based upon case note title (i.e. e-mail subject)?

It would be nice to see a Gmail style conversation, but in the meantime does anyone have ideas on managing this duplicate information?

Thanks!</body>

<body>Over the course of a day I will jump from one contact to another deal and then to another contact etc. I find the four tabs across the top very helpful except that there are only four. There is space for at least 10 and was hoping you could find it in your hearts to add a few more. I'll quite often look to the tabs thinking that I can just jump to that deal I was working on 10 minutes ago but in the meantime I have taken a couple of calls from other contacts and, since I record everything in HR, that deal disappears from the four most previous tabs pretty quickly. To get back to that deal can be quite few keystrokes.</body>

<body>Not quite sure why that isnt working for you. I never create tasks from the task window, always from either the contact or the deal I am working on. Much easier to track, on click to contact info etc when I am looking at list of tasks. I just checked my tasks window to make sure all was fine and there are about 20 tasks currently and they all have, for example, "Call Lisa Smith", which is followed by a hyperlink to her contact info. As well, I have "Send quote to Foxtrot" followed by hyperlink to one of the deals I have going for Foxtrot. I created the Lisa Smith task from within the Lisa Smith contact window and the Foxtrot task from the Foxtrot deal. Not sure why you would be experiencing a problem. The only thing I can think of is that you arent clicking on "Add this task" but I cant see that being the case.
Anyway, works well at this end. Good luck.</body>

<body>It seems when I attach a task to one of my contacts (instead of just creating a general new task), it doesn't show up in my upcoming tasks section.

Example: we pull up a contact and create a new task: send invoice to x person - but it doesn't show up in our upcoming tasks section and the task is lost.

<body>It makes no sense not to be able to make notes about a task. We use Highrise to develop and improve our software and team members find that creating a task does not help because they usually end up sending emails to clarify. This waste of time could eliminated simply by attaching notes to a task.</body>
