Tagging notes has been requested on these forums before, but it’s been awhile so I thought I’d bring it up again. I have a set of ongoing actionable items to be taken with any number of clients and companies, but they’re not tasks to be categorized. And even if categorizing notes was an option, Highrise doesn’t allow you to search or correlate against categories—in my case, for the purpose of reviewing recent activity across all these actionable items. For example: “Who did I provide a product update to in recent weeks?” And I would want to click on my productupdate tag to see all recent activity tied to notes with that tag.

I’ve tried some conventions of my own, like starting all my notes with some slug (e.g. produpdate) which allows me to use the search function, but it would be far more useful for me to use the tag feature so you could auto-fill and I can choose the right tag so I’m entirely consistent.

Otherwise, Highrise is da bomb, changing my life.

Tagging of tasks would be a godsend – I think tagging is awesome and the more places you can use it the better
