Hi…

New to the forum but I don’t understand why I can’t delete tags. It feels like an obvious omission at the moment.

I’ve been playing around with Highrise for the first time and now have a bunch of useless tags that just add ‘noise’ to the Highrise. Having recently read “Getting Real”, I’m surprised the facility to delete redundant tags and reduce the ‘noise’ hasn’t been included.

Is this on the radar for being included at any point?

For me (and maybe a lot of other users?), the issue of not being able to delete tags seems to be a fundamental problem.

Yeah, please let us delete tags!

I just spent a few hours reorganizing how I tag my contacts and then re-tagging into the new “tag scheme”, but now I have tons of tags that I don’t use in the way when I click on the tags tab.. This is the opposite of usable, any word on a possible fix for this?

I have found some, but not all of the tags disappear. Would love to be able to clear out the other ones that I’m not using!

Hello. Good to have added “deals”, but what about “delete tag”? For example I added a tag “want-to-see” to some contacts of mine. Now I’ve met them, and I don’t need any more this tag. After having removed it from all those contacts (BTW, is there a way to remove a tag from multiple contacts at once? Maybe I’ve missed something but I had to remove the tag FROM EACH individual contact—WTF!), the tag is still there … If for example the tag woult have been “want-to-meet-october-2008” and so on, I’ll end up with tons of unused tags! Again, am I issing something or is it really true a CANNOT DELETE TAG for this system? Thank you in advance for you reply on this subject.

+1 for me on this one. Very very frustrating to be able ADD tags in bulk, but then not delete them in bulk.
