Specific forward date but not time for tasks

Since the scheduling interface was improved I seem to have lost the ability to schedule a task for, say, 20th December without also setting a specific time on that day.

Often these tasks are too far ahead to consider specific times and the extra clicks to set a time are a pest. Also if I do not set a time late in the day they go off my “today” list on the scheduled day when it arrives.

I’m sure this was possible in earlier releases. Can we have it back please? :-)

I second this request. Scheduling a task down to the minute days, weeks, or months ahead rarely makes sense.

+1 on the above

Definitely. All you need is to leave time drop-downs empty, not pre-filled with current time.

In any case, pre-filling drop-downs with current time makes little time to me. Usually, I schedule the tasks late on the evening, moving data out of my Moleskine to Highrise. If I left the pre-filled time, all my calls are scheduled on 10 pm or something like this which is nonsense.

I totally agree, and visualpharm’s suggestion of leaving the drop-downs empty ought to be exceptionally easy to implement.
