Recurring Tasks

A great feature to have in Highrise would be recurring tasks where you have the option to schedule repetitive tasks at different time intervals such as daily, weekly or monthly. |
Ditto here. I’d like to keep as much in HR as possible. |
Add me to the list of this one. |

This would be a great feature to have. It would make the product a lot better. |

+1 on this. We’re using anniversaries as a stopgap, but it’s not really efficient since we need to set the date of the anniversary for a week before the actual date. Plus it’s only yearly. |
There are 27 unique repeating tasks |

+1 on recurring tasks for me, too. Would really like weekly, monthly and quarterly interval options |

Yes please. |

Yes, this is in Backpack, why not Highrise? Add please :-) |

Definitely a +1 here. I’d love to see recurring events for all contacts of a certain tag. So if I 20 contacts have been tagged with ‘prospective’ then automatically schedule a call on the 1st of the month. As soon as the tag is removed from the contact, the scheduled call for that contact is removed. |

One workaround until 37s updates HR with this feature, is to set up recurring reminders in Backpack and have the reminder email go to your HR address. Not very elegant, but it helps with some recurring items. |

I’m specifically looking for a solution for scheduling and monitoring the status of recurring tasks. I wish that highrise would handle that. |

I will add my vote for this as well. This is something that Remember The Milk does very well. I would also like to see “Task Plans” that can be deployed. Something like a group of common tasks you can assign to contacts or cases. |
I’d like to have recurring tasks in here as well. |

+1 |

This really belongs in Highrise. CRM is not CRM without it…it is an address book, and we all know we need another address book…just shoot me :-0. |

Recurring tasks would be a great addition. Thank you. |
We would like to have this feature very much. |

yes please |

+1 please! |
One for me. I think this would be a big addition. |
+1 more! |

One obvious approach from 37sigs would be to allow you to add multiple tasks in one hit like the funny 10 milestones option in basecamp. This should be discouraged as it would clog up the later lists. Maybe there is someway of remembering the snooze cycle so that closing a recurring task is tricky and deferring defaults to the recurrence period. Not sure I understand but no doubt the brains at 37 will come up with a way |

Recurring tasks and view tasks on calendar is a must … |
agree we’d totally use this! |
