Multiple Companies and Positions

I have not been able to find how I can enter multiple entries per person for Job Title and Company. Many people on my contact list work at multiple companies and have multiple roles. Can you please add this feature. Ty |

please let us associate one person to more companies (almost 60% of our contacts will have at least 2 organizations they’re part of, personally I’m part of 4) |

+1 for me as well, I’ve got numerous contacts I’d love to be able to associate with multiple companies. |

This would be a very good, useful feature. |

We really need this feature. Until it’s implemented, we can’t consider implementing Highrise for our company. Many of our software sales come from referrals. The referrers are usually volunteers associated with two, three or more nonprofits. We’d love to use Highrise. Any line of sight as to when this might be implemented? Is it less than six months, or more than a year? Thanks! |

+1 would be nice, but not vital |

This is critical for me. I work for a software company that makes software for Angel investors who belong to multiple companies, organizations. They may have a day job, and then they may belong to multiple angel networks or be a LP/GP at a venture fund etc. I need to track all of these things. |

Perhaps you can group these multiply organized people with Tags, if all you need to do is associate them with each other. If Organization A also has the tag, you can get to it’s information too, albeit not as easily as the Company<-> Person relationship. Alternatively, I have asked for the ability to associate people to each other (http://forum.37signals.com/highrise/forums/9/topics/1850). This, if implemented, would allow you to associate duplicate person entries (one for each Company) with each other, although this seems like a poor solution. Finally, perhaps you are looking for more sophistication than Highrise is designed to deliver. Cheers |

+1 (for many of us in my two HR accounts) I think this sounds exactly like what the groups feature does, only without the requirement that they are users. |

+ 1 for me as well… Several clients have day jobs and are on volunteer boards as well. We’ll do design work for their company as well as their volunteer boar. |

Any sign that this might be happening or are we just wasting our breath hoping this will happen? Its an interesting problem because so many contact managements apps can’t deal with it, and its really not all that out of the norm for someone to belong to multiple organizations/companies/foundations/etc |
