Email Out & Message Templates

Hello,

I’m deep in the throws of trying to pick a cost effective CRM tool for my small business needs. One of, if not, the primary need is a “one click email” feature that sends outbound email to my contact.

Is there plans for…
  • Outbound email with a custom “from” address that has a “reply to” that links to Highrise
  • Email templates that can be pre-drafted and/or staged to go out in order on a timeline for leads
  • Document repository or document attachment abilities for the email templates

This is a HUGE need and would be ideal.

Any plans to have these features rolled in?

Thanks,
Daniel

Agreed…outbound email to groups of contacts (say, by tag) is woefully missing. Right now, I’m evaluating other software to do this and I’ll have to export all of my contacts form highrise to accomplish it…major bummer.

I agree too!

I’m always sending the same mails. Only with different names in it. If there would be a feature to send email-templates with automatic integration of data (e.g. name, adress, ...) that would be great!
It would be even greater if I can set a special date, when the email is sent by the system! So I could set up some standard mails for clients and the system will do the work ;-)

like an autoresponder.

Outbound email to a tagged group is very important and I was totally bummed to sign up and set things up and then not be able to do it. Yes, I only have a free account right now but there is no value in upgrading if I can’t send a small group email. (The woman in another Forum who wanted to send 10,000 emails—now that is out of bounds, she needs a mass-mail program, not a contacts manager.)

I do have a paid Basecamp account, but my need is to send a small group email to people who are not working on a project with me - they have only volunteered to give me feedback on something I’m working on. So, asking them to be part of Basecamp is out of the question - too much burden on them when they are just doing me a favor by helping me with something.
