Is there anyway to use the API and pull content for a specific date?

For example, I would like to get:
- All the tasks created today
- All the tasks completed today
- All the notes added today
- All the contacts added today
—All the companies added in the past 5 days

It would seem that there is a way to submit a query as part of the XML request, something like:
https://myreallycoolco.highrisehq.com/tasks/completed.xml?done-at=2008-03-01

?
