New Affiliate program...

I cant believe that being Canadian eliminates me from being an affiliate. I go to Florida evey year, I can use my credit card there. I can order product from the states. Its just a line. Paypal works in Canada. We have internet and computers in our igloos. |

From the help section: At this time we can only accept affiliates based in the United States. Once we’ve squared away tax arrangements with other countries we will begin to allow non-US affiliates to sign up. Note: You can promote and sell our products to anyone in the world, but you have to have to live in the US in order to be paid affiliate commissions. |

so does that mean we can sign up for affiliate accounts now? Or should we wait until the program is rolled out? |
|
|
To answer my own question, no you can’t sign up unless you are living in the USA, the little check box on the sign up form says so :) |

@slapper, I think the issue is with 37 signals paying the right taxes when they issue referal payments. It is a tricky beast to deal with sometimes. |

I think we should get credit for it…When highrise figures out there tax issues…then pay us or even discount my monthly…...I am not going to be aggressive with selling a product without any financial payback…. |

This sounds rather strange and this is the more so as the same does not seem to apply to the Backpack scheme? Why is that? |
