When in contact view, each contact listed shows all the tags associated with that contact, which is great for eyeballing patterns and offers rich affordances for drilling into the tags.

But when a tag is clicked to get a tagged-contacts listing, each contact shows only the tag that was used to filter the listing – which of course is boring and provides no information at all. Key affordances are thus thrown away – for seeing patterns in the tags, and for further refining the listing.

This must be a bug; when I use the multiple tags interface at the right of the listing to further refine the listing, each listed contact again shows all its associated tags.

Our team is using tags to carefully keep track of a few aspects of contact status and contact type, and this bug makes it much harder to see what’s happening.

Thanks for a wonderfully clean and functional application in just about every other respect though!
