Why some contacts are not in alphabetical order?

Some contacts are not listed in alphabetical order. Why? Is there a reason?
How can I avoid it?
Thanks
Carlos

Are you sure you are viewing the list of contacts in alpha order? If you view in “Recently added” or “Recently viewed” they are going to be sorted by date, not by name.

Hi Jason, congrats for this 37 fantastic job.
Yes, when I see contacts in “all people” view option (I understand this is alpha order, by default), sort of 70% of the contacts are shown accordingly, but then the list goes on with the remaining contacts, always in the same “order” (but cannot figure out the “criteria”).
All the contacts are ordered with alpha order in “all people and companies” view, but I am not interested in this version of the list.
Any idea to solve this problem?
Thanks

I am having this issue as well. The contacts view showing All People & Companies does indeed put the most recently updated contacts at the top of the list, messing up the alphabetical order.

Perhaps Highrise intends you to search (aka Filter) by the first letter, etc. instead of having you page through an alphabetical list.

Cheers
