Duplicate contacts and Search
Highrise does not catch duplicate contacts. If there is already a John Smith with the email address John@john.com and you create another contact with the same info, Highrise will not catch the duplicate. I understand you can later merge the two files or search for the contact before creating a new one, but it seems there should be a duplicate feature. Regarding the search, I have noticed users with a middle name cannot be found unless you delete the middle name. For example, if you search for Mary Ann Jones, it will not find the contact unless you delete “Ann.” Also, if there is a space after Jones, it will not find the search result unless the contact was created with a space. |

I stand corrected regarding the middle name search. When creating the contact, if the middle name is entered in the last name field, it will find the contact; if the middle name is entered in the first name field, you have to delete it in the search field in order to find the contact. |
