Does highrise take a bit to figure out that recently imported contacts/companies are available?

I can navigate to a company, click on a person and see their information but a search for that person’s name returns no results.

It seems to be hit or miss on recently imported things.

Is there an indexing delay I should be aware of? I searched but couldn’t really find anything.

Nevermind. I figured it out.

I was importing records containing salutation, firstname and lastname in a single field. Highrise in turn dumped that all into first name.

Once separated and relieved of salutation it worked just fine.

I tried to use the country search for contacts, and although i have contact in a specific country, the result said “found 0 contact matching” please assist

can I search in the advanced search by “company”?
