e-mail associates with wrong contact

how do I change the contact that an e-mail is associated with? For some reason, a new e-mkail fwd just associated with a previous contact instead of creating a new one (names are not similar or anything). Why might this have happened? And, how can I force it to associate it with a new contact, and break the connection to the old one?

There does not seem to be a way to do this. I noticed the same behavior when I tried to BCC my Highrise dropbox on a Sent email that I was forwarding to another contact. It would be fantastic if Highrise allowed you to reassign the contact on an email.

As a quick fix, you can just write a note about the correct person and paste the email in there.

Any updates on this? I emailed a team member about a client, and that email is associated to my team member instead of the client…
