Topic: Welcome potential clients - make it a project We’ve created a project to show potential clients the grouphub. We usually set up company, people and project at the same time. But this is helpful when you’re bringing a client in. Here’s how we did it: 1. Create a company. 2. Add a person. 3. Create a new project. 4. Create a welcome message. 5. Test it on another browser. You’ll see that the current system welcome is not very good. 6. How to fix that (working around the system welcome message): Now your clients will see your welcome message 7. Send a message via regular email to your potential client.
To: potential client Dear Shawn, In our conversation I mentioned the online collaborative program we use to manage projects. The grouphub allows you to access your projects from anywhere in the world at any time. You can also upload files that would choke email. There are lots of other easy-to-use features to help us keep track of things. Feel free to explore! Please call us at (805) 544-9676 if you need help using the grouphub or would like to schedule your project. Thank you, Terre To login, visit: User name: hello
Hello and welcome to the [GG&A] grouphub, This is an introduction to the grouphub, our online collaboration and project management site. When we set up your project you’ll see your project name and organization at the top. You’ll get an email with your username and password, and a link to your project on the grouphub. The grouphub keeps messages and schedules centralized, categorized, archived by date and topic, and accessible from any computer with a web browser. We use the grouphub to make sure everyone involved is on the same page when it comes to project updates, messages, milestones and schedules, to-do lists, contact information, and more. The grouphub is easy to use – just click the tabs at the top of the page to see how those features work. The video tutorial links below show you more about using the features. Have fun poking around, and please let us know if you have any questions or comments about the grouphub, the project, or any part of the design process. Thank you, Terre Dunivant QUICK VIDEO TUTORIALS (sound on) MESSAGES – http://www.basecamphq.com/demos/messages/
Hi Shawn, Welcome to the [GG&A] grouphub! The grouphub is an online collaboration program that lets everyone involved with a project communicate, set goals, and keep materials organized and centralized. Big files that might cause problems with email can be uploaded to the grouphub. Messages can be organized by category, and you can search for a word or phrase. Deadlines can be posted, with reminders. When a message is sent from the grouphub, everyone you select to notify will get an email like this one, with a link. Click the link and you’ll be connected to your project on the grouphub. You don’t have to install any software, and you can access the grouphub wherever you have an internet connection. Your login is easy to remember: Your first name is the username and your last name is the password (all lowercase). Here’s a tip: Bookmark the site and set your browser to remember your login. I hope you find the grouphub easy and convenient to use. Please let me know if you have any questions or difficulty with it. Just let us know and we will work with you in the way that suits you best. If you would like us to add anyone else, please give us a first and last name and email address. We are looking forward to collaborating with you on this project!
