Topic: How are you using Basecamp? / Anyone use BC for Web Design Projects?

I own a WebDesign and Software Development firm out of Seattle, WA -I have the opposite experience: we send out the ‘new account’ email w/ some brief comments but our clients mostly teach themselves how to use BaseCamp and we’ve had no problem getting people to jump on the bandwagon. I love BaseCamp and don’t know how we survived before we had it…

Topic: System Announcements / Basecamp interruption of service

Same issue -Seattle, WA USA. Anyone given any thought to a backup system to make files available offline? We store all sorts of files in our projects for sharing and no one can get to them until this is fixed. Bringing me down, because the system status page (http://status.37signals.com/) is showing no issues even though we’ve been down for hours…and the time stamp on the last system update is 5:20am CDT March 9, ‘08…?

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / Email notification not working

I’m having this same problem -we’re a dev firm of 8 with 18 projects and haven’t been getting email notifications all day. I just sent another one to myself (another ‘welcome email’) and after 10 minutes i still don’t have it.

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / To Do list template sorting backwards

Hi, we just signed up and love the application so far except for one thing: when adding a TO DO list template to a project the TO DO list reverses the order on the overview panel (it’s fine in the TO DO list panel for the same project).

At first I couldn’t figure out what order the items were showing, so I tested this by creating a test TO DO list template (a, b, c, d, e, f, etc) and then adding it to a project -sure enough, it was reversed in the order it was created (f, e, d, c, b, a).

We need our tasks in order since tasks a, b and c need to be compelted before d, e, and f can be started.

Help?
