The Everyone/No one controls on the Give/remove access page is a great feature. However, I support the call for “None selected” default when a company is added to a project, since it’s a much safer way to go where confidential information is concerned.

I de-privatized some messages which had some files attached to it. The color bars for Messages on the Overview page changed color accordingly (i.e. from red to purple). However, the color bars for the attached files remained red, even though the files were no longer labeled “Private” on the Files page.

Similarly, when I experimentally privatized a message with an attached file, the color bar for the file remained purple, although the file was correctly labeled “Private” on the Files page.

Can this be fixed, so that the color bars accurately reflect the current “Private” status of the files (i.e. that of the message they are attached to)?

Perhaps “My profile” or “Edit my profile” might seem more relevant and enticing to the client. I have a feeling clients don’t normally think of the “account” as belonging/relating to them directly, so they just don’t even take time to explore the link.

I have several times found myself in the same situations as Nathan’s (people posting in the wrong project) and Helix’s (one project getting merged into another). I wholeheartedly support the call for this very useful feature.

Agree with Tom that “Blog view” and “Forum view” labels are not immediately comprehensible to non-webby users. (Guess at least 95% of my BC users would fall under this category.)

I’d love to have the option to view “All messages”, “Unread posts” and “Most recent posts”.

Jason – Thanks for your very quick response. We don’t have any images, but one comment in the thread does have long unbroken string of characters. So that’s the culprit.

We post messages & comments in Thai, and the Thai grammar is such that there are no spaces between words in a sentence. So must get my BC users to compose shorter sentences !

I don’t remember having this problem before. But today while I was writing a comment and when I view the threaded comments, the text overflows the screen width, forcing me to scroll sideways.

This only happens with one message on my BC. The other pages and messages seem to behave OK (so far).

Could anyone please suggest what might have caused the problem, and how I may correct it?

Please have Sat & Sun a medium grey so I don’t confuse it for the week days.

Agree with Melvin & Scott. I’ve gotten comfortable with the calendar starting with Today, with a full 14-day ahead on two rows. Still, I’d appreciate a darker shade of grey for Sat & Sun to distinguish the weekends. Most people (colleagues & clients alike) do regard weekends differently than weekdays.

37S – It can’t take so long for you guys to bring back the “Formatting Guide”. The right-hand space on the post/edit message page is simply wasting away. The best value all that expanse of screen space can offer is to provide a link to the formatting guide. It could even be utilized to actually house a quick guide in that space (giving the user an option to show/hide the guide, of course).

Since I set up BC as a freelance consultant, I appear to belong to a one-person company that is distinct from the company to which I want to transfer ownership. From BC’s viewpoint, there is no one else in “my” company to inherit account ownership. So I’ll have to merge (virtually) with the other company first.

I don’t get it. I am the account owner. That’s why I can see the Account (Upgrade/Billing) tab and the invoices, Pay in one lump sum, Need to cancel your account, Export your data, etc. But the “Make someone else the account owner” is still mysteriously missing from my view. How come?

Please bring back the link to “Formatting Guide” on Post a Message page. There are always new “people” who want to post messages but are not familiar with the formatting tricks.

The shorter version of the color blocks (e.g. “Message” instead of “Posted a message”) is an improvement. The size of the blocks is still a bit overwhelming, though. I very much prefer the smaller rounded rectangles, and relatively more white space, used on the dashboard page.
