I put this code in a divider title, as instructed and don’t see any difference. Am I missing something?

If the system seems to be running very slow or that any command seems to take a long time to respond, you can use the pdosexempt command to try and diagnosis this runtime problem. The pdosexempt command enables an administrative user to exempt a process from policy enforcement. It can be used to debug runtime problems in a shell that is exempt from authorization policy enforcement.

@Thierry

Unfortunately, I can’t find a way to inject code into any other 37signals products like I can do with Backpack. I’m afraid the only way it’s going to happen is if 37signals implements it on their own, or if they hire me. ;)

Glad the changes seem to be working for everyone!

iBackpack has now been updated to account for the recent Backpack updates. Current users should see the changes immediately (if not, try reloading the page).

Let me know if you find any more bugs or have any other comments! ibackpack at violetpixel dot com.

@YinHoNg: Could you provide me with more details via email?

Thanks!

The February 2008 changes to Backpack seem to have broken iBackpack on the iPod Touch for me. I can see the frame with the pages but cannot scroll through it and there are other formatting quirks.

Is it just me?

Topic: Messages not making it to inbox

The information that is most useful in tracking this down is:

  1. A link to the exact message/comment for which a notification was not received.
  2. Email addresses of those who did not receive the notification.

If you email those to support@basecamphq.com we can investigate.

Sarah,

I understand that the Forums are not the place for get help. I want to know what pieces of information would make it easier for you troubleshoot when I do submit an issue.

Account Name?
Project Name?
Sender?
Recipients?
Message Subject?
Message Body?
Private or not?
Time Sent?

Are there other pieces of information that would be helpful?

Thanks.

Brett

Eric, I can tell you that my issues is NOT limited to private posts, as my clients cannot see those.

Same issue here. I can’t tell if it’s limited to ‘private’ posts, however. I’ll also submit via email. Thanks.

Sarah,

I see a trend here – people are reporting that emails aren’t being received…

Now I have to troubleshoot web site issues myself, so I know it is difficult to even begin to know where to start without more information.

What types of information would be helpful in troubleshooting this issue?

Thanks

Brett

Topic: Messages not making it to inbox

For the last two months, we’ve experienced intermitten issues with different clients NOT receiving e-mail notices to message threads they are subscribed to. My clients are very dependant on those notices, as they don’t login otherwise. So, I’d appreciate it if someone could look into it and get rid of any bugs.

Thanks!
Kristen

Will the snippet work with my n800? I guess I could give it a try, but there are so many other distractions.

Justin, the new update has broken the edit feature for me. And is there any way that we can reorder stuff on the page?

Topic: Moving todos into completed lists

To get a todo item which is located in a currently active list into a completed list from /projects/:id/todos you have to…

  • click on the completed todo list
  • add a fake item to it
  • go back to main todos page
  • drag the item to the formerly-completed-but-now-available list
  • delete the fake item you made

...what if you could just drag an item over to a todo list on the completed list area, which would presumably have the effect of moving that list over to the active area as well?
