Topic: Feature Requests / Linking ToDo Lists Items to Messages

I’m not sure about the “automatic” part, but it’d be nice to be able to associate To Do list items with existing messages … or at least have something where extended info could be associated with an individual list item.

The new changes are subtle enough to not be a big deal for most users and that’s a good thing. Had I not looked at the screenshots I probably would not have noticed some of the changes for a couple of days… Having seen the side-by-side comparisons, however, I think the new changes are definitely for the better. Keep up the good work.

Topic: How are you using Basecamp? / Getting people to "buy in" to Basecamp

We’ve been using Basecamp for nearly two years now and some of our employees still refuse to use Basecamp. People will either use it and really get it – or they will ignore it and continue about their business. And in my experience, forcing people to use something they won’t ever get is almost always counter-productive.

Tony, I agree with you – that’d certainly be a more elegant option though not a deal-breaker for us.

Or you could chip in with one another and share a paid acct. The problem with this idea, is that it would be abused by people not wanting to pay for Basecamp.

@jpinnix, right… but it’s needs to be said that posting your username and password in a URL is inherently insecure…

Integration is going to be key for us. We’re using both Highrise and Basecamp now, and I could us using it more if the two apps worked together more seamlessly… but that’s a topic for another forum post :)
