This would be a an unfortunate change but I don’t see it. Posting a comment either directly in Basecamp, or by email, both result in the user being added to the subscription list. I wonder what sequence leads you to see something different?

Hello,

Prior to today’s update, posting a new message would subscribe you to comment notification on that message. That’s no longer automatic as of this update.

Is this the new intended behavior? If so, I’d like to request it’s put back to the old way as soon as possible. If it’s not, I’d like to request it’s fixed as soon as possible.
