Topic: Feature Requests / Templates for Milestones Why just templates? It should be everything, really. Project templates (or to be more general, making a copy of a project) are one of the most requested items ever since Basecamp launched. I know they’re possible in principle, because Backpack allows you to copy pages with a single click. I don’t see why that can’t be doable in Basecamp, unless the implementation is totally screwed up. Besides which, it’s one of the most obvious features of any tool like Basecamp. Sadly, given that Basecamp is just beyond its fourth birthday, I conclude that if a feature as popular as “make a copy of a project” hasn’t been implemented in all that time it never will be implemented. |
