You can no longer upload files when upgraded to Safari 3 (the upload spinner runs infinitely). This affects all webkit-based browsers, such as Shiira, Omniweb and Pyro.

Is this a known issue being looked at?

Yes, it’s a Safari 3 bug :) I’m sure it’ll be resolved in a later beta.

Seems that there is still a bug here. Even though I believe Safari 3 is out of Beta and comes pre-installed on Leopard.

Yup, it’s still broken in Safari 3.0.4. You can actually upload once, then subsequent uploads endlessly barberpole. Reloading a chat makes a single upload work again.

Beyond that, when a chat is in an innactive tab, the audible chat sound doesnt work, and the tab numbers “(1)” sometimes work, sometimes don’t.

From a recent SVN post 37S seems to think there aren’t any problems, but all of my colleagues have these issues. It’s getting very frustrating, I wish they would look at this problem once and for all.
