A quick heads-up: this isn’t another “can 37s update paths as I’m moving servers” question.

I’ve been using my own file storage space with my Basecamp account for some time, and would like to switch to using the built-in Basecamp file storage.

I can leave all the existing files in the same location on my server, no problem. I just want to use the built-in Basecamp storage for all files from now on.

Is this possible? Or will switching to Basecamp file storage automatically update the paths of all the existing files as well?

Basecamp can’t remap any files that were uploaded to your old server. Files uploaded to the old FTP server will continue to point to the old FTP server. All files uploaded after you’ve changed your settings will point to the new server.
