Now I know I can globally disable email notification, but how can I disable it for me? I don’t want to receive any notification because I am using the RSS Feed and I find that more intuitive to read then loads of emails.

You can’t disable it only for yourself, but there is a hack you could try – just put a fake or non existant email address instead of your real one. Bingo – no more notifications!

Only downside is that anyone clicking your email address in your contact details is going to be a wee bit dissapointed when they don’t get a replay ;-)

Otherwise you need to set up a custom mail filter that automatically puts any notifications from Basecamp in a folder, and marks them as read at the same time.

Nick, not sure if you’re on Mac or Windows, but I use Outlook & setup a rule to do this for me. Works wonders for a lot of the different online apps I use. Good luck!
