I’ve used Basecamp for a while and I swear the FTP settings were under settings tab next to color scheme.

I just opened a new PLUS level account for my company and I can’t find the FTP settings – did they move?

Any help appreciated as the selling point was the security of hosting our own files.

We’ve recently phased out FTP options for new accounts and accounts that never utilized this feature. If you never set up FTP uploading for your account, Basecamp storage is the only option you have for file uploading and downloading.

This was the major internal selling point on using the system and it’s still noted in many forums / posts and documentation.

Can you look at this on an account by account basis? We may not be able to utilize Basecamp given that that option is no longer available, but I’d like our company to have that option if it is.

We still offer this for all the accounts that had FTP set up before, but we haven’t supported it on new plans for over a year. We’re not able to make exceptions on this for specific accounts.
