Love basecamp. Use it as a client extranet. Client posts service requests as messages, we respond with comments until they are “closed”.

Upgraded to get time-tracking and watched video. Unfortunately, doesn’t meet our needs, so we then downgraded. We need the same functionality you have in tying time to to-dos, except we want it tied to messages.

Also, would like to have time be private to our company. That allows us to adjust time without having to publicly explain. At some point, we would like the option to make it public.

Also, while we’re at it, would like to be able to “close” a message thread. Basically have an open/close status on the message.
