Notification to team for whiteboard comments
|

Adding comments to whiteboards do not allow notifications to the team, in the same manner that adding comments to messages do. Will this feature be available in the (near) future? Thanks, Wyatt |

I’m relatively new to basecame, but I’ve experienced white boards developing behind my back too – I wish I could put a “watch” on certain whiteboards. |

Not sure if this has been taken up before (just a little too lazy right now to check). But—YEAH! What’s up with writeboards? They can’t even be hosted on the same server as the rest of the system… I think that is inherently the problem – the writeboards act like a cheap API enhancement that is lacking real integrated features. Basecamp admins, why can’t we treat a writeboard like a super-message? With notifications, many to one relationships with milestones, etc. We have tons of copy flying in and around the basecamp architecture, but we have never gotten used to using the writeboard because it flies under the radar 100% of the time. |

Another vote here for writeboard comments appearing in the project log. Even just an RSS feed of comments on a per-writeboard basis would help. |
