Track who marked a TODO complete
|
|
If I assign the todo to “anyone”, I have no idea after the fact who checked items on that list off. Want to request a feature that keeps track of who marks a TODO item complete. Need the audit trail. Thanks, 37signals. Love your products! |

An audit trail would be very useful.. At the moment I don’t know who has marked a task or milestone as complete or unticks it to mark it as incomplete. Thanks |

+1, this pertains to so many other things as well, perhaps some kind of wiki-like full ‘recent changes’ would be more elegant? |

i like swaroop’s suggestion, take from wikipedia here…a complete revision and change history +1

Why not use the comments to log when a To-Do/Milestone was completed? They are person specific as well as being date and time stamped. |

I would also like to know who added the todo and when. We often add “maybe one day we’ll get to it” type todos. I’d like to know if if they are really old and who I should talk to before I delete it. |

I agree that I’d like to know who marked the to-do complete. I’d also like to be notified that a to-do was completed if I’m the one who created it. Right now, if there isn’t a message associated, I don’t know a to-do was completed. Lastly, when I’m adding a message to a to-do, it would be nice to be able to change the other info about the to-do (like who it’s assigned to) at the same time. |

The Overview tab of each Project does track the Completed by… Person name, yes? The XML export of your Projects may give your office some help tabulating the details. I hope this helps everyone manage To-Do’s… |
