Replies to emails should be routed as comments
|
|
If a recipient of an email notification for a message replies, it should be routed as a comment to the message provided there’s a match on email address for the user. If the current setup remains, the user should receive a bounce message so they know the email hasn’t been received. A couple of our clients have replied to these emails and as a result we’ve not received their correspondence. |

+1 for this. This is happening to us all the time ! |

Posted elsewhere but +1 too. |

A bounce notice to the user to sends to the “Do not reply” address would definitely be good. Even though a good job has been done with with email content to let people know that they shouldn’t reply, I have clients that still do this and believe they have successfully contacted us. |

I have had several clients who use crackberries request the reply via email option as well. IMHO it might be a nice addition. |

The blackberry is the big issue here for me. When i am in the office it easy to log back in to submit a comment. From the blackberry I can’t do this and being able to hit reply and know it would be captured in basecamp would be terrific |

Yes! +50. Off of outlook and in to basecamp. A true capture of project related material. This would do wonders for the blackberry owners. |

Agreed. This would be a very welcome addition. |
