Basecamp Feature request. Three simple wishes Request #1 I would love to be able to assign people to projects with a choice to include admins. The admins would be there and still have full access but they would not be selected by default. We have problems with customers posting messages to the wrong people or just clicking the Excelisys button (our company) and sending out noise to the other admins that are not on the project. This can get really annoying when it happens on a thread with lots of chatter. I have to go in and unsubscribe myself. It would be nice to be able to assign people to the project during setup. Create a new Project ABC Select Project Manager (all messages would go to by default) All others would work like they do now except the Admins. They would be in a lower section that a user could still select if they wanted to but they would not be selected by default when some selects our entire company. Request #2 When I log in as I would see only projects I am associated with. Even though I am an admin I would only see the projects I am assigned to (see previous request). At any time if I wanted to see all activity I could click on a toggle switch and I would see everything I do no. Flip the switch back off again and the noise disappears and I just see the projects I need to focus on. Request #3 |

Not a reply, but additional permission request. We have clients that have 20+ projects running. I have new account director that I want to give access to all projects under a client. Currently I am adding the new AD to these projects by changing permissions in each project. Would be great to toggle the AD to all Client A projects adding all 25+ in one go. Is this going to be possible? Does anyone else have the same issue or do you have a way round it already that I’m missing? |
