Completed milestones display

I’d love it if the Completed Milestones list displayed in reverse chronological order… most recent at the top, oldest at the bottom. Or at least give users the option to have them display either way. |

Absolutely agree. This seems much more intuitive to me, at least the way we work. When I check off a milestone for instance, and then want to click on the associated message to go and assign a new (next stage) milestone, I would expect to see that last completed milestone listed at the TOP of the list, not the have to scroll down to the bottom. |

Agreed. :) |

I also support this request. |

This would be a huge help for me. Also – the ability to page through completed milestones! We use a Basecamp project for ongoing management of an operations process, and go through a few milestones a week. Our Milestones page has more than 100 completed milestones, which gets a bit ridiculous. |

I noticed again today how this would be very helpful. We are trying ‘milestone view’ as default for a vendor right now. This seems pretty effective, especially when you associate milestones with messages, which gives you a hyperlink to that message from the milestone view. This gives a nice picture of the status of time sensitive projects in a list. That aspect would be that much more useful if the completed milestones sort in reverse chronological order. |

Thanks for your feedback everyone. |

Hi there – I started this thread back in April and just logged in to make the request again. I’m still wishing I could view the most recent completed milestone at the TOP of the Completed Milestones list. When I teach our clients how to use this feature, no one can understand why we have to view the oldest ones first. As with someone else who commented on this topic, we use this project for ongoing operations, so I’m now scrolling down the equivalent of 4-5 pages of completed milestones before I can see the one I care about. Imagine how it will be next year! Please lend us a hand here, guys. |
