Is there a way to organize projects by category? For example, most of my projects are deals I am trying to close, but each deal is in a different stage, and it would be nice to see my dashboard and reports organized by projects within a given stage.

is this doable?

I have seen an organization where they make “Companies” that are actually project phases, and as the project moves thru the phases, they assign it to the Company that represents that phase.

Of course, that has the drawback of not showing for that company on the Dashboard.

You can use HTML to color code your project names based on their status.

example: <font color="red">Project Name</font>

A level of optional customizability like this would be a welcome addition. It wouldn’t overcomplicate things for those like it “37simple” but would add functionality for those that do.
