I would like the To-Do list in Backpack to work the way it does in Basecamp, ie; to be able to give a group of to-dos a title. For instance, housework, homework, work work so they aren’t all clumped together. Of course, I could make a new page for each one, but would prefer to have a master list like this on my homepage.

I’m pretty sure you can do that in both Backpack and basecamp.

Yep, you can create multiple, named lists in Basecamp.
