People: Adding and Moving
|
|
Two things. 1. Having to access each project to add a new person is tedious, especially when you have 30+ projects as we do. Would be much better if some sort of check-box system was developed where adding and removing people from projects could be managed from the dashboard. Also master “add-to-all” and “remove-from-all” would be golden. 2. Our organization uses clients to organize volunteers in to committees. Would be nice if one could move a person into a different company without having to delete and recreate their account. Thanks! |

1. You can do this already for people in your company. Click the “people” tab, edit the person, and on the right side there’s a link to Grant or Revoke access to all projects. 2. You can already do this as well, just edit a person from the People tab and use the drop down box labeled “Company.” |

To clarify: Only the BC account owner has the “grant all access” links in their sidebar, and the option is restricted to people in the owner’s company. |

Of course the ‘grant access to all’ does just that. If you want to add someone to say, only 13 of your 30 projects, you need to do that by hand. In some cases you may want to create groups (as companies) and by setting ‘automatically add this person to all upcoming projects’ on individuals in that group, and adding their company (group) to a project at the outset, you will get that group of people on the project in one swoop. |
