Working Offline

To make basecamp truly work for me and my company; we need to be able to work offline. That is, work out home with no internet and have the current status of our to-do’s, milestones etc. available for read only access.

How do you do this with basecamp; I see that even the API widgets do not support this to my knowledge.

Please tell me there’s a solution and I will be gleeful.

Basecamp has some awesome print style sheets.

The creators of Basecamp aren’t directing their efforts towards those who need disconnected access (see their latest blog post on the subject). This is a good space for an API widget and we’d like to be there at some point with Project Recon, but it doesn’t make sense for us to jump there just yet.

Bring the power of Basecamp to your desktop! Project Recon is a widget for Windows XP that sits in the system tray and allows you to keep track of hours without taking your mind off the project at hand or opening a browser.

There is someone who does a MS Access import of some sorts of Basecamp data. Perhaps that helps? Not sure of the name etc. but Google (or this forum) should be of help.
