RSS feed into MyYahoo

Tried to get my feed into MyYahoo. I got the error message that the link could not be found. Maybe MyYahoo does not accept feeds that require login? I have tried to google information but has found nothing on the subject.

From my experience with MyYahoo, I don’t think you can use it the same way as a personal RSS reader. I could be wrong. I have only succeeded in adding things that Yahoo already had available to add. I use google reader to follow blogs and so forth, and I added this to my google reader and it worked fine. In fact, I saw this post on it!

I don’t think BaseCamp feeds work with such readers due to the login.

Basecamp RSS feeds are password protected for your security. You need to use an RSS reader that supports authentication or password protected feeds. My Yahoo doesn’t support password protected feeds.

There are lots of feed readers out there that support password protected feeds, but we recommend FeedDemon for the PC and NetNewsWire for the Mac.

Personally, FeedDemon is an amazing piece of software for PCs.
