Let me organize my pages!

I have the 5 buck sub, and I love backpack. BUT, I’d upgrade in a heartbeat if I could organize my pages (categorize them, even reorder).

The usability dwindles as you add more pages. And using symbols at the front of the page titles does not count as a robust page management system. It doesn’t have to be complex, just something better than what is in there currently.

Hey Iching—try tagging your pages to categorize and quickly navigate among them.

Duh, yeah tags – forgot about those things. While not exactly what I was looking for, I think I can make that work close enough. Thanks for the help.

From my experience, I found tags all but useless.
Tags would be a great addition to sub-page elements (lists, notes, images etc.), but for pages, they didn’t work for me. Maybe they would work as a means to organize 100+ pages, but with my 40-something pages, they only add overhead.
And to really make good use of tags, there should be auto-complete and a constant visual indicator which tags I have, like an – optional, alphabetical – tag cloud in the sidebar.

yeah, the master pages page should should have similar tools as the individual pages, along with a “folder” tool. WE just started and we’re seeing the need for this.
