Archive Pages

I really want to be able to archive pages just like I can archive projects in Basecamp and Cases in Highrise. I’d like them to be kept intact as they are – with mail features and adding items disabled, but not count toward my page limit. |

Although I don’t have a problem with my page limit ATM, I think this is a good idea. As a workaround, you can remove pages from the sidebar (won’t help with the page limit, though). |

It would be very nice to archive pages. Even if they counted towards my page limit. |

I think this is a good idea, and as erikmallinson indicates, would compliment the archival of projects in Basecamp and cases in Highrise (which once done, do not count towards the project/case limit). Once done, it shouldn’t count towards the page limit IMHO. |

I’m keeping class notes in Backpack and now that the semester has ended I’d like to archive them. I’m sure I’ll delete them someday, but for the next year or few I’d like to know they’re available. |

I’ve mentioned this before, but I think the best way to do this is to email the page to a Gmail account, have a filter tag it “backpack,” and delete it. Now the page is easily searchable but out of your way in Backpack. |

I think this is a good idea too. “Email the page” doesn’t include all the information on the page. Moreover, if the archive page doesn’t count toward the page limit, it’s more possible to keep some page public for sharing information. |

Emailing pages is fine, but you miss out on things like attachments to pages |
