Highrise adding mail/phone from my sig to a contact

I’ve got a problem… when I forward/bcc a mail to a new contact into highrise, it’s adding the contact correctly, but it’s also entering my phone number and email address to the contact, presumably stripping it from my sig. I use Gmail (for my domain), and the sig looks like this: — Any way to stop it being added to contacts? simonA |

I’ve noticed too that Highrise will look into emails for contact information, which is a good thing, but reading the sig? hmmm… Maybe you could try saving your sig as HTML. I don’t think Highrise will read that. |

Sadly I don’t think there’s that option in gmail… I guess I need to test to see if there’s a sig structure that Highrise doesn’t read… |

Well I’m going quietly mad… This sig will work (ie Highrise won’t pull out the phone number and email from it): — And this one won’t – Highrise finds the number and mail address: — Go figure! s |
