New Contacts via Email
|
|
We are using HR to manage sales leads for us. Prospect fills out a form on our site and then the form forwards it to HR creating a new contact. Everything is working properly except for one thing… The prospect email address is the only information being recorded with the new contact. The prospect email is attached properly to the contact. Even though the email that comes to HR includes address, phone, first name, last name, etc… it is not being recorded in the new contact profile. Is this possible? What are we doing wrong? Thanks for your help! |

Don’t think you are doing anything wrong. When HR gets an email with a new contact, it will create the contact and attach the email, but I don’t believe it has any ability to parse other info into the other contact fields at this point. |

Any progress or news on this question from HR Administrators would be appreciated. I have the same requirement as must do anyone using a webmail form to capture customer input/contacts via a webpage. |

Maybe if we could email in a vcard as an attachment rather than import it. Its easier to program vcard files than updating information. If you like programming see my post in API http://forum.37signals.com/highrise/forums/15/topics/6078 Garry Robinson |
