Topic: Backpack Calendar / iCal Time Zone Issue This has become a problem for me again just recently. It was an issue about a year ago and then it resolved itself, but then about a month ago my calendar started displaying events out of sync again—several hours into the future. I never changed any of my settings, so I can only assume this is a problem with Backpack interacting with Google Calendar. Any kind of comment from the people at Backpack would certainly be appreciated. |

Topic: Feature Requests / Journal Feature I just learned the other day that Backpack does not archive Journal entries. They just disappear after 100 entries or something like that. I lost some entries that I had from when Journal first launched. I was using the Journal to track projects and tasks as well. I have now started backing up my Journal page to Writeboards, but this is a less than ideal solution. There should be some archiving function for Journal in my opinion. Or at least a warning when your entries are about to drop off the page into oblivion. |

Topic: Tips & Tricks / iBackpack - Backpack Pages Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch The February 2008 changes to Backpack seem to have broken iBackpack on the iPod Touch for me. I can see the frame with the pages but cannot scroll through it and there are other formatting quirks. Is it just me? |

Topic: Feature Requests / Backpack Becoming More of a Business Product In light of recent announcements on the Signal vs. Noise blog about enhancements to Backpack aimed at small businesses, I just wanted to put a word in for those of us who use the service for personal use or freelance-related organization. Please keep in mind that we are out there and don’t want to be priced out of whatever package plans you come up with in the future. We have been loyal customers from early on and have stuck with 37Signals through long periods of neglect and conflicting information. I do hope we will be considered when all of these changes are implemented. Please keep some low cost package options available for us. And how about that iphone/ipod touch interface? |

Topic: Feature Requests / E-Mail Writeboards I would like the ability to simply e-mail the contents of a Writeboard to someone without cutting and pasting. |

Topic: Feature Requests / iPhone/iPod Touch Enhancements 1. I know this has been mentioned before, but any plans for a simple Web Apps icon for Backpack access on the iPhone or iPod Touch? Seems like something that would take 30 seconds for a programmer to put together. 2. I like iBackpack, but would love a 37 Signals-created front end for Backpack on the iPhone/iPod Touch as you have already done for Ta-Da Lists and Campfire. Backpack is my favorite 37 Signals product but it always seems like the forgotten middle child or something. |
