Topic: Backpack Calendar / Blackberry calendar synch

Like Jonezy suggests, the route is via Google, but it at least puts the events into the native app on the BB so they show up in Today themes. Not free though.

First up, get a goosync account – the free one works fine for one calendar but you will need the full version to be able to access more than the default calendar. This product creates a SyncML server that exposes your google calendars.

Then get the SyncJe product from NextHaus which does the work of connecting to your googsync account to exchange data.

If you only used Google calendar then this is a perfect, if not free, two way sync. However, it means that the backpack calendar, which you have added to google, is one way.

What is needed – is a SyncML server directly accessing the Backpack calendars. Then you would just need the SyncJe product which will work with any server, not just goosyncs.

Topic: Feature Requests / Including the "coming up" box on other pages

Hi

I love the “Coming up” box – dunno why, something intangible, appealing visually etc.

However as a lone user of my account, I rarely visit the Newsroom unless it is just to look for coming up :-)

I would like to be able to note, when a page is being created, that the Coming Up box should also display on this page.

Perhaps it could be a check box to the right of the text box when I am naming or editing the name of the page.

Or it could be one of those links at the bottom “Show Coming Up on this page / Hide Coming Up on this page”

There are some pages, where I keep daily reviewed actions lists, where seeing the Coming Up box would save having to keep going back to the calendar then back to the page again to add an action related to an event.

• Enabling non-us date formats (11/7 = 11th july for EU for example))
• either a shading for the weekends or option to start on monday
