Topic: Feature Requests / Delete Tags? I’m having the same issue. I deleted pages a couple of weeks ago and the tags to those pages now point to nowhere. |

Topic: Tips & Tricks / A tip for taking notes I’ve been using Backpack to take notes during class at school and this has been the best method I’ve found. I also use it to take notes during meetings. It gives me some safety since Gmail automatically saves every few minutes and/or I can choose to save at any time. This way I can take notes for a couple of hours in one place and not worry about losing my work. (And I have a ‘backup copy’ in my Sent Mail folder.) It also allows me to use spell check.
That’s it. Open up that Backpack page a few seconds later and there’s your note. This may already be documented elsewhere, but I did a quick search and didn’t see it. I hope it’s helpful. |

Topic: Feature Requests / Ability to pick from list of tags Now that I have many tags it would be helpful to pick from a list of them when assigning tags to a page. |

Topic: System Announcements / Backpack Multiuser is Live I’m still on IE6 at work and a problem I have had is now gone. When displaying ‘all pages’ my tag names would display running down the page like a staircase, and the page list would start below that – way down the page. Now tags are all neatly listed to the right of the page list. Thanks! |

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / Pages blanking out Finally, after three weeks, the problem is solved. It was a hardware problem. Several other issues came up over those three weeks and I was getting nowhere with upgrades, uninstalls/installs, etc… I finally took my laptop into our corporate PC repair shop and they fixed it after much trial and error. |

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / Pages blanking out Anyone else having this problem? Once I’ve called up a page it looks fine for several seconds then parts of it disappear – the main body, the right hand side. Not all at once either; it disappears a little at a time over several seconds. And it’s not happening consistently. After it’s happened I can refresh the page and it will stay visible. |

Topic: Feature Requests / Archive Pages I’m keeping class notes in Backpack and now that the semester has ended I’d like to archive them. I’m sure I’ll delete them someday, but for the next year or few I’d like to know they’re available. |

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / Tags not lined up I’ve started using tags to organize my pages and it’s really helpful. However I have a formatting problem on one PC, but not on another. From the “My pages” screen – on my desktop PC the tags are lined up neatly in a column; on my laptop they’re strung out like a staircase. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is it browser related (maybe IE6 vs IE7)? Do I need to update something? |

Topic: Miscellaneous / How safe are sensitive data? Thank you Ken, that’s very helpful. You sound like you might know the answer to a wireles security setting question I have. If you are (or anyone else is) interested in answering it, you’ll find it here Thanks! |

Topic: Miscellaneous / How safe are sensitive data? I’ve wondered the same about non-SSL backpacks. If an ‘outsider’ can’t see someone’s backpack without the password, what advantage is SSL? |
