Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / SMS Reminders to UK O2 iPhone? Always had to set up the reminder to email, then filter on the provider email to send SMS reminders when received from backpackit.com Yes, that was how I managed it on my old orange phone; I can’t find any settings on O2 to send any email->SMS though. |

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / SMS Reminders to UK O2 iPhone? Does anyone has their Backpack reminders arriving as text messages on an iPhone in the UK (on o2)? If so, could you share with me how you got it to work? I’ve been messing with it since November to no avail. myusername@o2.co.uk arrives at my o2 webmail ok, but I can’t forward it to my phone. Using the number in the backpack reminder settings doesn’t appear to result in a reminder arriving anywhere. thanks! |

Topic: Feature Requests / SMS Provider Requests @richallum: I’ve got reminders from Backpack being sent to my UK Orange phone. I needed to go into the web interface to email on orange.co.uk and switch on email alerts (and also whitelist the backpackit.com address so the vast quantities of spam the numerical address attracts don’t get through!) |

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / Empty Subject in Reminder SMS When I get a reminder email from Backpack it has the reminder in the subject; but when I get a reminder SMS the reminder is in the body of the email. Since my mobile phone people only send the subject and not the body of the message to my phone I effectively just get “you wanted to be reminded about something” with no clue as to what the “something” was. Any chance we could get the reminder in the subject? thanks |
