Topic: Feature Requests / I Want Sandy I’m going out on a limb here… I Want Sandy (iwantsandy.com) is an email-based reminder service. Pretty cool, once you learn the commands to use to create reminders, notes, and todos, and calendar appointments. I’d REALLY like it if Backpack’s reminder system had the ability to do one additional thing along these lines: create reminders and appointments by sending them in via email. Backpack pages allow me to email in content, I just would like the reminder and/or calendar to do the same. |

Topic: Feature Requests / Unique URL for home page? You can’t really do that, unless you create some sort of private snipurl.com shortcut. Another thing you can try, though, is to notice the official URL of your start page and bookmark that, instead of, say http://kayels.backpackit.com, or whatever you’re using. For example, mine is: http://mynamehere.backpackit.com/page/somenumberhere/clear_start Notice the ”/page/number/clear_start”. Make a note of what YOURS are, and bookmark that URL. |

Topic: Feature Requests / Choose a Color for your Divider or Background Great idea. Faster recognition on long pages. |

Topic: Feature Requests / Alphabetize lists I’d like to be able to click one button to sort my list in alphabetical order. Dragging and dropping isn’t very efficient when the list gets upward of 20 items or more. |

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / Code to remove junk message at bottom of corp. email? mjcpsnh, I can only sympathize with you two months after your post. I hate this too. I used Remember the Milk to manage my todos for awhile, and you could do the same thing—put a dash at the end told RTM to stop anything after the dash from being added. Oh I wish Backpack did the same thing… |

Topic: How are you using Backpack? / Transfer from Backpack to Highrise Another idea on this is to create a Backpack page or writeboard for each of your contacts in Highrise, and the first note you put in their Highrise entry is a link to the page/writeboard. Since Backpack’s price levels are built off the number of pages, you may have to do it via writeboards, which are unlimited. |

Topic: How are you using Backpack? / 100 pages!?! It would be nice to be able to upload simple spreadsheets or CSV files that are read as tables, huh? The formatting for tables is a little clumsy. |
