Topic: SMS Provider Requests Hey Mark, in case you haven’t tried the Vodafone New Zealand suggestion added to this thread in March 08, don’t bother as Vodafone have stopped providing this facility. Not aware of an alternative yet. Pity … |

Topic: SMS Provider Requests A late amendment to T-Mobile Austria, since I can’t seem to get the SMS-feature to work. T-Mobile only accepts Mail-to-SMS-messaging with a 4-digit-PIN as the subject line, which is assigned to the sender upon the first attempt to send a message. It subsequently has to be used within 3 days and thereafter expires after 60 days of not using it. I don’t know if that requirement is reflected under the hood of Backpack’s reminder service. If not, please implement it. The PIN seems to stick as long as it is used once every 60 days, so it should be manageable. Thanks |

Topic: SMS Provider Requests Vodafone Sweden has been bought by Telenor, turning into Telenor Sweden in 2006. Their website redirects from vodafone.se to telenor.se I can only imagine that any SMS:es sent are lost. No idea if you can just switch over to using @telenor.se, but it’s worth a shot. I’ve tried sending tests to both the ‘Telenor’ and ‘Vodafone Sweden’ options without any success. Also, what is required of the number entered? Country code (i.e 0046), dropping the initial (“useless”) number in the area-code? |

Topic: SMS Provider Requests Hi, Can you add SMS gateway for Orange in Poland? You can create this alias using “Multibox”. XXXXXXXXX is 9-digits phone number /without country code/. |

Topic: SMS Provider Requests This may or may not be the appropriate place to post, but while I know that Rogers (Canada) has been on the “works” list for some time, there is a significant hangup. As compared to Google Calendar, for example, where SMS messages come straight through to me, with Backpack, I always have to explicitly reply and tell Rogers to let the Backpack message through. Clearly, there’s a difference in implementation between how Google and 37signals are working this. Have any other Rogers customers seen this behavior? |
