Topic: This page is shared (Change) link wrapping We pushed a fix for this last night. The “Change” link should no longer wrap on Windows. Thanks everyone for reporting this bug. |

Topic: iCal Time Zone Issue This has become a problem for me again just recently. It was an issue about a year ago and then it resolved itself, but then about a month ago my calendar started displaying events out of sync again—several hours into the future. I never changed any of my settings, so I can only assume this is a problem with Backpack interacting with Google Calendar. Any kind of comment from the people at Backpack would certainly be appreciated. |

Topic: Journal on a Solo account So I guess the Status part is only available if you are part of a team? So no use for the Solo account, hence the Logbook feature has lost 50% of its usefulness for soloists. |

Topic: Journal on a Solo account I’d like to +1 for removing the lockdown completely. I want to upgrade add new users to my account, but I have old journal entries which I don’t want these users to see. At least allow me to delete the entries, if not edit them. The only way I can erase my journal seem to be to delete my account. |

Topic: iCal Time Zone Issue I have a feeling that this may be a complicated issue to resolve, but I’m seeing a time differential as well. Currently, all of my appointments are showing 7 hours in the future (+7). I’ve confirmed that I have my Google calendar set to Arizona time, as well as my profile settings inside Backpack. We’d really love some information on this, even if it’s something that you’re looking into. Thank you. |

Topic: iCal Time Zone Issue Same issue here. The Backpack calendar is completely unusable in my opinion. Events from the G-Cal iCal link show at the end time, not the start time. And furthermore, the times are anywhere from 1 hour to 5 hours off from Eastern Time. Yes, my time zone setting is correct. This has been posted here for a full year now, so apparently it is not taken seriously by 37 Signals. Poor, poor service. Jim |

Topic: Journal on a Solo account +1 for oscar7g’s idea. I often want to add entries for the previous day and end up with a lot of entries tagged [yesterday] which looks crappy and makes it more confusing. Personally I don’t need to go back more than one day (keep me honest for everything 2 days ago!) so I’d be really happy just to edit/add items for yesterday. |

Topic: Journal on a Solo account Does anyone (like an administrator) know if there are any plans to change this? It really does seem like a ridiculous limitation. I’m all for “less”, but shouldn’t this at least be an administrator’s option, as randian suggested above? |

Topic: iCal Time Zone Issue I just had the same issue. I see that this ticket is about 8 months old so I guess the issue hasn’t been solved. |

Topic: Tag cloud in the sidebar? There’s a Greasemonkey script that adds a tad cloud to the sidebar. Nothing fancy, but it serves its purpose. |

Topic: Journal on a Solo account I’d at least like a delete button even if you can’t edit it. I have also posted some stuff I don’t want on there and I can’t remove it, seems silly. |

Topic: This page is shared (Change) link wrapping The element has a fixed width of 185px, which (on my setup, anyway) is wide enough to display “This page is private (Change)” without wrapping, but not wide enough to display “This page is shared (Change)” without wrapping. It probably looks fine on a Mac, but Windows XP doesn’t come with Lucida Grande so the font is degrading to Verdana. Dropping the text size to 11px would probably solve the problem, and would look better anyway (the page-sharing settings aren’t used anywhere near as often as the other links in the widget bar, so if you insist on moving it there, it shouldn’t be anywhere near as prominent). |

Topic: This page is shared (Change) link wrapping @jonezy. You’re right – it has moved to the top but looks ugly due to the text size and wrapping. Sure Ryan will sort it though. |

Topic: This page is shared (Change) link wrapping @Ben Mills, I think this update was pushed last friday (June 19) as part of the scheduled maintenance. It used to be at the bottom of the page and I think this new sharing feature actually let’s you share the page with anyone (previously you could only collaborate with people that already had backpack accounts ) |

Topic: Journal on a Solo account The editing policy should be configurable by the administrator. |

Topic: Journal on a Solo account I like the idea of a lock down but I’d also like at least a day’s grace. Perhaps the current day and the previous day’s entries could be editable. |

Topic: Journal on a Solo account I agree. This is sort of annoying. Why enforce that we be “honest?” I mean, should that really be Backpack’s job? Seems silly. |

Topic: Edit list title immediately when adding a list Yes! I’m always adding “fadsdfs” as my first entry because I just have to enter the title first… |

Topic: Journal on a Solo account I jumped right in and added a test journal entry that reads “blah, blah, blah.” So, I can’t delete that? I have to look at that forever? |

Topic: Edit list title immediately when adding a list This has always seemed like a bug to me. I’d much prefer to add the title for the list before I start adding items, just like it works in Basecamp. Is this the intended way for it to function? |
