That seems to have gotten it. Thanks for the fix!

Should be fixed now. The breakage was a result of a change we made this morning to accommodate those with larger font settings.

I had this too – reloading seems to fix it for me though.

On line 3621 of all.css, if the width of the ul is decreased to 60px, you can then click on the entire checkbox again:

div.widget div.nubbin ul {
height:16px;
margin:0pt;
overflow:hidden;
padding:0pt;
width:70px; >> width: 60px;
}

Something to do with the z-index setting here?

For what it’s worth it looks like it’s a one pixel-width column along the right edge of the box that’s taking the click. In my case (on firefox and camiino, at least).

We’re checking into it, folks. Sorry for the inconvenience. But we still don’t support Omniweb ;)

While it’s still obviously a problem, for me, it appears that a single pixel in the lower right corner of the to-do item box is active and accepts the click for marking an item complete.

It looks like the bug is that yesterday the entire box was active and now it’s just one pixel.

Nithin, we don’t support OmniWeb. We’ll check into Safari, although Safari 2 is the only officially supported version of Safari. Safari 3 is still in beta.

I am having the same problems OmniWeb (latest alpha) and Safari 3 Beta. Ticking the checkboxes works fine with IE 6.

I’m experiencing the same exact problem: when I reordered my lists (because the latest update moved things around), I can no longer click on the check boxes for the moved lists. I’m using Safari 3. Upon closer inspection, I cannot click on any check boxes in Safari.

I also checked with firefox 2.0.0.5 and I cannot click on any check boxes in my lists either. There is only one list which works, but it’s way at the bottom.

In both browsers I can move list items and add new items without any problems. I just cannot mark any list item as complete.

Topic: Can't check off list items

Hi there. I’ve run into this problem in Firefox (2.0.0.5), Camino (1.5) and Safari (2.0.4). I am unable to check boxes to move items out of lists. I can, however, uncheck boxes to move completed items back into lists.

When I move my mouse to check a box I get the Delete/Edit/Move tool hovering out to the left where you would expect it. And those tools all appear to function normally. But I simply cannot get any of these browsers to respond to clicks on the checkbox.

In Camino I can tab my way to the boxes and toggle the box with the space bar, at least. Firefox doesn’t appear to support that type of tabbing (or at least I don’t have it enabled) and I haven’t checked that w/ Safari yet.

FYI, this is all on a PowerBook 1.67 GHz G4 with 1 GB RAM running OS X 10.4.8. As near as I can tell this behavior began after last night’s update, though it may have started with the switch over to Backpack 2 and I just noticed it this morning.
