It would be useful to have the ability to export Writeboard (or even regular pages) into pdf format. yes i know the some browser suports the print to pdf functionality, but sometimes i’m using BP not on my own mac / work pc.

You can move onlymain elements between pages: a note, a file, a PICTURE GALLERY (not a single picture), a wirteboard.. and a LIST, not an ELEMENT of a list.

Hi,

I’m a very happy Backpackit user; I signed up with my plus account one year ago.

I’ve noticed a little “glitch” in the billing system: the prices are listed as x$/month, but the user is charged every 30 days.
I know that the average month is made of 30 days, but the billing date keeps drifting backwards: in 2006 i’ve paid on 25th oct. and this year on 20th.

For me it’s ok to pay every 30 days, but the price table should be fixed accordingly.

Is there a limit of 100 email per page? I’ve never heard of it, and maybe i’ll never reach this limit.. i have a page with about 50/60 mails…
If this limit exist it’s only applied on the free accounts or also on the paid ones?

Hi,

you mean that clicking directly on the file doesn’t work, or it doesn’t work only if you click on a link to a file that you created before the update??

If this is the second situation, maybe is something similar to this issue

i tried to connect to the http://123.backpackit.com/shuffle in order to find some new public pages to see how new backpack features are used by other people, but i got the “We’re sorry but something just went wrong” message.

just a little note.
For my account yesterdat he search worked exactly as Jason said.
a search returned link to various pages, a snippet of text of the page with the searched termed marked with yellow.

Today if i perform a search i get no result.
At this moment it appears to function only on email body.. i get links to email containing the searched term.

Hi,

I noticed that if I move a file to a different page, when i try do download the file clicking on the link in the new page, I get the “Whoops, that isn’t a valid web address” message.

I also tried waiting several hours, but the behaviour is the same.
If I move back the file to the original page, i can download it without any problem.

Moving images gallery works without any problem.

Hi, I’ve noticed that if a note contained an embedded image previously uploaded to the page with the link something like

https://name.backpackit.com/assets/XYZ/KJW/imagename.jpg

where XYZ and KJW the two parts of a page name

these embedded images now don’t work properly anymore..

In order to see the embedded image, the link must be chnaged to something like

https://name.backpackit.com/assets/long1/short/assets/XYZ/KJW/imagename.jpg

where long1 is a large sequence similar to a md5 hash
and short another sequence (shorter thanlong1).

The only embedded links to images uploaded to a page which are still working, are those found on pages that are publicly shared.

should we manually re enter the new update links to images that we want to embed or is possible to circumvent this issue?

If i remember, previously there were two or more file in a row; now all files are listed one below the other. if a paga contains a lot of files it gets very long.
